人文学科 & COMMUNICATIONS SPRING 2022 WRITING CONFERENCE: "REBUILDING"

Share your poetry, short stories, and essays at the LAVC人文 & Communications CAP Spring 2022 Writing Conference, "Rebuilding," on Monday, May 16 on Zoom at 1:30 p.m. Prizes of $250, $150, and $50 will be given to the award-winning entries. Completed applications with attached writing should be submitted no later than Friday, May 6.

Robert Kane Memorial Scholarship: Robert Kane devoted more than a decade of his short life to teaching in the English Departments at Los Angeles Valley College and Cal State University, 北岭. He loved the English langu年龄 and helping students communicate effectively through writing. He was also a gifted actor, playwright, 音乐ian and songwriter. In honor of his memory, we offer this scholarship to students who demonstrate a commitment to English, 剧院, 音乐, 动物福利, 或教学. May this scholarship support the students to which Robert was so devoted.
